Atelier Eighty-Eight worked with Up in Arms Baby to bring their original Butterfly Winged Baby Towel concept to production, a reimagined baby towel designed with an adjustable caregiver neck loop and waist ties to support the transition from bath to towel.
Starting with Up in Arms Baby’s original concept, Atelier Eighty-Eight translated the design into a production-ready product, developing the technical specifications and tech packs required for manufacturing. The unconventional construction, designed to be worn by the caregiver before wrapping the baby, required careful consideration of proportions, attachment points, materials, and overall functionality.
Working with manufacturing partners in Turkey, we developed and sampled the towel in two different fabric weights to evaluate softness, absorbency, structure, and performance. Following refinement and approval, we managed sourcing, production, quality control, and logistics through final delivery.
